Dr Hughes is a registered specialist GENERAL PRACTITIONER.

Originally from Wales, Dr Hughes completed her medical degree in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. Then moved to Taranaki, New Zealand, in 2010 working initially at Taranaki Base Hospital and completing her general practice fellowship in Waikato. From working in a busy rural Raglan practice, she decided to return to Taranaki with her family.

Dr Hughes enjoys time at the beach, yoga, lifestyle block management, and time with family and friends. Dr Hughes enjoys a wide variety of general practice with a special interest in older persons health, women and children.
